Volunteering

You know the struggle is real and have come out of the battle. Now is your chance to show others that it can be done. At A.A. we help to recover alcoholics because we know what works and what doesn’t. We have all been a part of the process and the journey.

Together we can win this war on alcohol abuse. With dedication and commitment, we can help others achieve sobriety. Get in touch with a clinic near you, or call one of our hotlines.  Your support and understanding are exactly what others need to overcome their obstacles.

Because we are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, we need people to volunteer their time. After all, we are not a community; we are a family, and with your help, we can help more people. But, to help other people succeed, we need volunteers. We need people who have walked the line and come out on top to prove to others that there is hope. If you or someone you know is a recovering alcoholic and is someone who is willing to help others, we would love for you to join us.

You never know if it will be your story of success that lights the path for others. Call us today to find out how you can help.

To show your support and volunteer at one of our centers, you must have compassion and understanding. And you must be sober for at least two years before being considered for a volunteer position.

If you are still on board and want to lend a helping hand, contact us today. There are over 20 centers across Area 83, and there is sure to be a place that wants your help.
